Biography
I am a Practice Development Lawyer at Irwin Mitchell, where I work closely with the Family team. I provide bespoke advice in relation to technical legal issues, conduct complex research tasks, develop new legal precedents, manage the legal training programme and work with the wider Knowledge team on firm-wide projects.
I have had a varied career, having trained at a Magic Circle law firm as a corporate lawyer, before choosing to pursue a career in Family law.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The team here at Irwin Mitchell is fantastic - the level of expertise within our Family team is truly exceptional, but also the warmth and enthusiasm of all the people here is second to none.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I love getting involved in complex and niche areas of Family law, providing insight and guidance to help clients when they need it most.
What inspired you to get into law?
I know it's a cliche, but I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people! I also enjoy the intellectual challenge, the dynamic nature of the law, and how it's constantly evolving. It's always interesting, and it's such a privilege to be part of this profession.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my young family and dog, usually outdoors in the beautiful New Forest. I love being active, and taking part in triathlons, which takes up a lot of my spare time!
