Stephanie Denham

I am a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Asbestos and Occupational Disease matters. 

I qualified into personal injury in December 2022, having been a paralegal in the Newcastle team since 2018. I run Asbestosis, Pleural Thickening, Occupational Asthma and HAVS cases as well as other occupational disease matters and I support with Mesothelioma claims. I am accredited as an APIL Litigator. 

What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?

Irwin Mitchell provide a fantastic work life balance which enables me to balance my work and the services to my clients with my own family life. I am incredibly grateful to be able to be there for my family whilst doing work I love.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

The most rewarding aspect of my role is being alongside my clients on their journey. It is not always about the end result but rather providing support throughout the lifetime of the claim.

What inspired you to get into law?

I wanted to be able to support people in achieving justice where there has been negligence. I consider myself a people person and wanted to be able to help victims and their families.

What do you do away from the office?

I spend time with my husband, two children and my dog. We enjoy holidays, day trips and generally being outdoors.
