I'm an experienced paralegal based in Birmingham and specialise in claims for people who've been affected by occupational disease.
With a strong litigation background of many years, I can handle complex disease cases from start to finish. I have extensive experience of noise induced hearing loss, carpal tunnel syndrome, hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), and repetitive strain injury claims. I also run cases for people suffering with work related lung disease such as occupational asthma.
I'm passionate about making sure my clients get the best service and that their cases run as efficiently as possible. I'm approachable and work hard to make the legal process as straightforward and as stress-free as possible.
What inspired you to get into law?
I've always been passionate about justice and helping others. A career in law offered the perfect opportunity for me to make a positive difference and help people through what is usually a very difficult time in their lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Securing justice and recovering compensation for clients who have suffered injuries through no fault of their own is definitely a very rewarding part of the job. I'm driven by being able to help clients and their families in a way that is tailored to their individual needs.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I enjoy being part of a friendly, experienced and passionate team who put their clients at the forefront of everything they do. I also like the fact that Irwin Mitchell offers clients the complete package of services they may need throughout their claim through the broad spectrum of expertise available.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy staying active, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
