I am a Solicitor in our medical negligence team, working from our Bristol office.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

Suffering from a life-changing injury is devastating, especially when it could have been avoidable. I recognise that it can also be challenging for my clients to relive their experiences when investigating a potential medical negligence claim. For that reason, the trust and confidence my clients have in me to advise them and work in their best interests is rewarding in and of itself. Although the primary goal is to obtain compensation for my clients, I also find it incredibly rewarding when I am able to give my clients a voice and answer their questions regarding the treatment they have received.

What inspired you to get into law?

I was inspired to become a Medical Negligence Solicitor because my father suffered from medical negligence when I was a child. Seeing the effect his injuries had on his way of life, and the impact the compensation he later received had on his ability to regain his independence, made me passionate about helping others to achieve the same outcome.

What do you do away from the office?

I love to read and often curl up with my nose in a book on my days off. I am also a keen Formula 1 fan and love to unwind by painting or drawing.
