I'm a solicitor working in the London medical negligence team. I help people make compensation claims against NHS Trusts, GPs, and private practitioners.
I run a varied caseload including cases involving:
- Orthopaedic injuries
- Delayed cancer diagnoses
- Stillbirths and neonatal deaths
- Serious brain injury
- Surgical negligence
- Infection claims
- Gynaecological and obstetric claims
What inspired you to get into law?
I've always wanted to go into a career which is both rewarding and challenging. The legal process is complex but I enjoy guiding and supporting clients through this and achieving the best financial settlement for them.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
This certainly has to be getting answers for clients and achieving settlement for them in order to help them rebuild their lives.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I'm very proud to work for one of the top UK firms specialising in medical negligence. I'm surrounded by extremely talented lawyers all with one goal in mind: to achieve the best possible result for injured patients.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work, you can find me at the gym or socialising with my friends and family.
"Eleanor, Saydie and the entire team have been extremely professional throughout a delicate process in dealing with us as bereaved parents. They have been very calm and sensitive throughout and it never felt like a pressured or stressful process. We are so pleased to have had a positive outcome for our son after initially being unsure about whether to take his case forward. The fact that the Trust admitted liability for his stillbirth has enabled us to move forward and give our son the closure that he deserves. We would highly recommend the team at Birmingham and send our personal thank yous again to everyone involved in our case." - 5* Trustpilot review
