Biography
I'm a Costs Lawyer and Team Leader. I qualified in 2005 receiving the ALCD cup winner for that year. I specialise in Claimant Personal Injury work but have undertaken commercial work and Legal aid.
I have a growth of experience dealing with low value claims to multi million pound claims in personal injury. I prepare Bill of Costs, Schedules, Replies to Point of Dispute, negotiate and finalise detailed assessment and protected party approval matters for solicitor/client costs.
I manage and lead a team of 8 people at the moment and develop and train new cost draftsman to be fully knowledgeable in the ever changing costs world. Prior to joining Irwin Mitchell I did accounts work and started in the accounts department at Irwin Mitchell in 2000 moving to join the costs team in 2001.
