I’ve acted in various complex and high‑value financial cases, including those involving family trusts, inherited wealth, and business assets. In these matters, I focus on ensuring that the structure, intention, and history of those assets are properly understood and reflected in any settlement. I was involved in the reported case of Hart v Hart, which went to the Court of Appeal on two separate issues, and which has been voted one of the most significant cases of the last 20 years.

I’ve also been instructed in cases involving the enforcement and challenge of pre‑ and post‑nuptial agreements, achieving successful outcomes both for clients seeking to uphold agreements made in good faith and for those where circumstances have changed significantly and the agreement needs to be revisited.

In relation to children, I’ve acted in cases involving both internal and international relocation, as well as those involving allegations of parental alienation. These matters often require close collaboration with experts, including independent social workers and guardians, to ensure that the child’s welfare remains central to any outcome.

Many of my cases resolve through careful negotiation, but I am equally experienced in taking them to court where necessary to achieve the best result for my clients.
