I have been employed by Irwin Mitchell since 1999 and qualified as a Legal Executive in 2005.
I was a fee earner dealing with litigated personal injury claims arising from road traffic accidents for over 15 years where I was recognised for my strong client care skills before joining the Costs Management Team.
I am an Associate leading the fast paced Costs Budgeting team. I provide expert costs budgeting advice to all areas of the business, representing both Claimants and Defendants.
I have a strong background in advocacy. I am passionate about Diversity and Inclusion, I am proud to be the National Co-Chair of our gender network and continue to push the boundaries of inclusivity within the legal sector for all colleagues.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The People! At Irwin Mitchell, I am proud to say that both the people we represent and our own people are of the greatest importance. I am also proud of our firms commitment to diversity and inclusion and the focus on balance, fairness and creating an inclusive workplace for all.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Securing the best recoveries for our client's whilst maintaining the highest standard of client care.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was inspired to apply for a role at Irwin Mitchell as I wanted help people, who through no fault of their own, had been injured and have never looked back!
What do you do away from the office?
I love being a Mum to my daughter, Beau and son, Riley and spend most of my spare time watching them dance or play football. I love the outdoors, especially the Lake District, and walking my dog, Murphy. When I have a minute to myself, I like a nice spa day or meal out with my lovely friends!
