Biography
I am a senior associate solicitor specialising in divorce and the associated financial matters. I also handle disputes on the arrangements for children following separation (such as where the children will live and who they’ll live with).
I also represent unmarried couples in disputes involving children and property. I also advise people contemplating marriage on pre- nuptial agreements and protection of assets.
I'm a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Cohabitation Disputes, Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA), and Financial Provision for Children.
What inspired you to get into law?
I’ve always enjoyed problem solving and I like assisting people in solving their problems in a way that really makes a difference.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I like finalising a case with a positive outcome. I like knowing that I have helped the client close the door on what is often a highly stressful and emotional stage of their lives, enabling them to move on.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I like being part of a nice, friendly team working as a national unit across the country.
What do you do away from the office?
I have a young daughter who keeps me busy but I also enjoy travelling ( pre-COVID and miss it alot). In recent times during and post COVID, I have become a keen baker.
