Rosanne Tweddle
Biography
I advise clients on a wide range of rural land and estate matters, with a particular focus on agricultural tenancies, farming arrangements, secured lending, and rights over land. I also work extensively with development land and provide strategic support on estate management. My role is to help rural businesses navigate both complex commercial transactions and the practical, day‑to‑day legal issues that arise in running land‑based enterprises.
With a farming background, I bring first‑hand insight into the realities of the agricultural sector. This experience underpins my advice, allowing me to combine technical legal expertise with a deep understanding of how rural businesses operate in practice. I'm able to translate detailed legal principles into clear, practical solutions that protect my clients' interests and support their long‑term business objectives.
I am an active member of the Agricultural Law Association and currently serve as Deputy Chair of its Council, reflecting my commitment to the development of agricultural law and best practice within the sector. My work has also been recognised by Chambers and Partners, where I am listed in the North East Agriculture & Rural Affairs Guide 2025.
