With over 10 years’ experience in professional services business development, Rob is responsible for managing and implementing successful strategies that drive financial growth across the firms Business Legal Services (BLS) division, by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients and referrers.
Rob leads the business development focus for the Consumer Business sector group nationally and has a strong track record of supporting UK-based and overseas Retail, Leisure, Hospitality and Sport businesses. He leads Irwin Mitchell’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) campaign which has widespread implications for all businesses, none more so than those in the Consumer sector where good data governance is the greatest source of value to achieving competitive advantage.
As well as identifying new business opportunities and driving the sales pipeline here in the UK, Rob also provides strategic BD support to Irwin Mitchell’s International Strategy Team with a specific focus on the US, helping extend the firms’ global reach into key existing and emerging jurisdictions.
Rob sits on the steering committee for the Professional Marketing Forum in Yorkshire and takes an active role leading Irwin Mitchell’s national membership with the forum.
