I am a regulatory partner advising UK and international businesses on compliance, investigations and market access. Based in London, my practice focuses on complex and evolving sectors, particularly legal cannabis (including medical and CBD wellness), vaping and other consumer products, and I also have experience advising on crypto and digital asset matters.
My work centres on helping clients establish strong, compliant routes to market while navigating regulatory scrutiny and managing risk across the UK, the EU and wider multi‑jurisdictional projects. I understand that operating in these sectors often means dealing with uncertainty and heightened regulatory attention, and I work closely with clients to provide clear, commercially grounded advice that supports their growth.

- Advising consumer-product businesses on Trading Standards, FSA and MHRA investigations, evidence requests and corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliant claims and labelling for CBD food supplements and cosmetics (EU 1223/2009; UK Product Safety & Metrology regimes).
- Securing release of seized shipments and recovering damages in Border Force matters, including THC-threshold analysis and CoA compliance for destination markets.
Product compliance and market access
- Preparing and guiding FSA Novel Foods applications; maintaining compliant market presence pending authorisation; aligning claims with UK consumer-protection and food-law requirements.
- Advising on the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 (TRPR) and policy developments affecting single-use and non-nicotine (CBD) disposables.
- Navigating ingredient listings and safety assessments for cannabinoid-containing cosmetics under EU Reg. 1223/2009 and UK retained law.
Licensing and authorisations
- Supporting Home Office applications for controlled drugs and industrial hemp cultivation licenses.
- Structuring lawful handling routes and security protocols under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001.
Crypto and digital assets compliance
- Advising on the UK cryptoasset financial promotions regime.
- Educating clients on blockchain transparency, audit trails and risk-mitigation frameworks.
- Dispute resolution relating to the recovery of stolen or misappropriated digital assets, including strategic engagement with exchanges, platforms and relevant authorities.
