Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Serious Injury team at Irwin Mitchell, working in the London office. I have over 7 years' experience working with clients who have suffered life changing injuries, through no fault of their own, whether that be in a road traffic accident, accidents at work or in public places.
I have a particular interest in those accidents resulting in brain injury and orthopaedic injuries. My focus throughout is to ensure the injured individual receives the best possible rehabilitation as early as possible for maximum benefit.
What inspired you to get into law?
I got into law because I wanted to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. The legal field offers a unique opportunity to advocate for those in need, help them navigate complex situations, and ensure they receive the justice and support they deserve. It’s incredibly rewarding to use my skills and knowledge to assist others during challenging times and to contribute positively to their futures.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding part of being a personal injury lawyer is the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Helping clients navigate through difficult times, ensuring they receive the rehabilitation and services they need, and seeing them regain their independence and well-being is incredibly fulfilling. It’s about being a source of support and advocacy and knowing that your efforts have a positive impact on their recovery and future.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
What I enjoy most about working at my law firm is the collaborative and supportive environment. The team is dedicated to making a positive impact on our clients’ lives, and it’s inspiring to be surrounded by professionals who share the same passion. Additionally, the firm provides ample opportunities for professional growth and development, allowing me to continually enhance my skills and knowledge. It’s a place where I feel valued and motivated to do my best work every day.
What do you do away from the office?
In my spare time, I love taking long walks with my dog, Nico, exploring new trails and enjoying the fresh air. Cooking is another passion of mine; I find it relaxing and rewarding to try out new recipes and share delicious meals with family and friends. I especially love trying out recipes that I have collected from my travels. Recently, I’ve even started crocheting as a new hobby—although my dog seems to think the yarn is a new toy just for him!
