I am a solicitor working within the Medical Negligence team based in Birmingham. I specialise in a range of cases against hospitals, GPs and other health professionals.
I also specialise in child abuse cases. I represent individuals who have experienced sexual and physical abuse and neglect. I have acted for clients in cases against local authorities, schools, religious organisations and children's homes.
I began my career in law as I wanted to help support people who had been through very difficult circumstances in their lives and who felt that their voice had not been heard.
The most rewarding aspect of my role is being able to achieve the best outcomes for my clients.
I enjoy working with an extremely talented and dedicated team helping to achieve the best outcomes for the people we represent.
Away from the office I enjoy travelling and catching up with friends and family.
“Many people who suffer sexual abuse as a child or young adult are affected by the ordeal for the rest of their lives and their experiences can have a significant impact on how they choose to live their lives.
“Paul, along with the other survivors that have spoken out, has shown exceptional courage and bravery in coming forward.
“We hope this courage will help others who have been abused to seek help, in the knowledge that they will be listened to and believed.
“We will work with Paul to try and get him justice for the traumatic experience he had to endure while at Feltham Young Offenders Institution.”
“This is a truly awful case and we have heard a shocking first-hand account regarding the abuse that our client suffered at the hands of someone who was in a position of great trust.
“Her experiences have had a huge impact on her life, with her attempting suicide twice and also now struggling to form relationships with and ultimately trust men.
“While we are now working hard to help our client get access to the justice and support she deserves as a result of what she has been through, we are hugely concerned by the prospect that other people may have also been affected.
“As part of our work, we would urge anyone else affected not to suffer in silence and come forward in the knowledge that their voices will be heard in relation to this awful matter.”
