Biography
I'm a Paralegal working in the medical negligence team in Manchester and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
I specialise in medical negligence and my role involves assessing new cases that come into the team. I also represent people who might have received substandard care in any medical setting such as a hospital or dental clinic.
I have a particular interest in cases about fatalities, cancer, surgical negligence and obstetric emergencies.
What inspired you to get into law?
During my academia, I helped people facing court alone by offering emotional and practical support. This allowed me to help empower and protect a wide range of individuals such as children, victims of abuse, and those who cannot afford legal representation.
I then developed an interest in practising the law. I enjoy the intellectual challenge of keeping up to date with the law, problem solving and creative thinking. I also enjoy delivering a personal service to a client who may have been injured as a result of negligence.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I find it satisfying to empower a wide range of people such as the vulnerable, children and the voiceless. I also enjoy bringing settlement to a claim where an injury could have been avoided and finding the answers to my clients' questions.

What do you do away from the office?
When not working or studying, I love nothing more than to run locally in Manchester or with my partner in various races. On my weekends, I also enjoy yoga & travelling.
In my spare time, I often dedicate myself to volunteering for various organisations mainly in the legal sector.
