Biography

I am a real estate development lawyer who advises registered providers, charities, local authorities and housebuilders on a broad range of property and residential development matters.

I act across the full lifecycle of large‑scale development projects, with particular expertise in affordable housing and mixed‑tenure schemes. My experience includes advising on site acquisitions and disposals, conditional contracts, land promotion and option agreements, infrastructure and utility arrangements, and asset management transactions.

In recent years I've acted on a number of significant transactions including:

  • Acting for a registered provider on the acquisition of a Homes England‑funded development with a gross development value of approximately £35 million.
  • Acting on behalf of a registered provider in connection with the acquisition of affordable housing units at the former BBC Television Centre.
  • Preparing detailed reports on title for prospective regeneration scheme opportunities for registered providers in respect of existing asset portfolios.
  • Acting for a registered provider on the acquisition of a portfolio of properties across Hampshire, supporting delivery of the Government’s £2 billion Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.
  • Advising national housebuilders and registered providers on a range of mixed‑use and mixed‑tenure development schemes.
  • Assisting with site set‑ups for both shared ownership and open‑market plot sales.
