What inspired you to get into law?
I got my first full time job as an office junior in a law firm and worked my way up. My career was on hold while I raised my children but I am back now and loving law more than ever.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Generally, because of the nature of the work that we do the opposition is usually a family member or friend which can make cases very highly charged emotionally but the outcome can have a massive impact on the lives of our clients.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell is progressive and inclusive and dedicated to excellent client service. I genuinely believe that we deliver the expert hand, human touch that we hold ourselves out to.
What do you do away from the office?
I have four children and two sausage dogs and they keep me pretty busy. I am also an keen fitness enthusiast and have been competing in women’s bodybuilding championships for the last 2 years. I think that the total strength, determination and self motivation that the sport requires, is reflected in my work.
