Biography
I'm a medical negligence solicitor based in our London office. I joined the department as a paralegal in 2018 and completed my training contract at the firm between February 2021 and September 2022.
I studied Law at the University of Bristol, before completing the Legal Practice Course in London.
I work on a wide variety of my own cases, including delays in the diagnosis of cancer; stillbirths; fatal claims; and negligent surgeries. I also assist senior members of the team on birth injury; amputation; and spinal injury cases.
Whatever the case, I always work hard to ensure that my clients have the best possible outcome.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
An early aptitude for arguing!
From a young age I was told I should consider being a lawyer, because I was always up for a debate or pushing back against anything I thought was unfair. I was lucky enough to secure some work experience at a local court during secondary school. The rest is history.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Job?
Working with clients, who have often overcome some of the most difficult times of their lives, to secure early admissions of liability and interim payments to help them get the assistance they deserve.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
I am extremely lucky to work with such a talented group of lawyers, who are always happy for their brains to be picked.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I can often be found trying new recipes in the kitchen or in the gym (to balance out the recipe testing!).
