Biography
I am a paralegal in the medical negligence team in the Manchester office. I joined Irwin Mitchell in July 2022 and I assist senior colleagues on a full range of cases, some of these including medical misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis, birth injuries and fatal claims.
I also deal with new medical negligence enquiries within the team.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is being able to assist clients who have suffered as a result of medical negligence, whether this be through obtaining closure or securing compensation that they need in order to move forward.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The best things about Irwin Mitchell are the supportive and inclusive environment, and working alongside colleagues who are all committed to obtaining the best possible outcomes for our clients.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, going to the theatre and exploring new places.
What inspired you to get into law?
I completed my Law degree from 2016 - 2019 and enjoyed the analytical and problem-solving elements of studying law. My first legal role was in a high street firm after graduating, where I soon realised that I had an interest in medical negligence in particular. I really value working closely with clients and being able to make a positive difference to their lives where possible.
