I am currently a member of the Serious Injury team pursuing claims for compensation for people injured as a result of road traffic collisions and accidents in public places. I joined the Personal Injury department in 1991 after completing my training with IM.
I have a wide experience of representing clients who have sustained injuries as a result of road traffic collisions, accidents at work and in public places as well as for those who have contracted workplace related illnesses. I am accredited as a senior litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
I aim to achieve the best results for my clients and to assist them as much as possible in understanding the legal process and the steps taken throughout the claim.
I like that I can guide and support my clients through the legal process, trying to help them with their recovery and rehabilitation while securing them compensation. I hope that I am approachable, caring and friendly in the manner that I work.
It's great to work alongside a team that are all committed to achieving the best results possible for their clients.
I act as mum's taxi and spend a lot of time standing on the sidelines of football pitches, athletics tracks and badminton courts, cheering on my two children. We have season tickets at Manchester City (my home town) and for over 20 years I have ridden the rollercoaster watching their home games. It's much easier on the eyes these days than when I got my first ticket, which was a treat to myself when I qualified as a solicitor.
We appreciate that police officers often have to drive above the speed limit when responding to emergencies, however, it is our view that on this occasion the driver should not have being doing so.
“Through our work we often see the tragic consequences of what can happen when motorists do not obey the speed limit and unfortunately Leslie’s death is yet another example of this.
“Leslie’s loved ones have had to endure an exceptionally difficult 18 months after their lives were turned upside-down. The events of what happened that evening and the loss of a much-loved dad and granddad is still raw for his family."
Whilst it is only correct that a thorough investigation to establish all the facts about what happened on the evening Leslie died needed to take place, not knowing the full picture has caused a great deal of anguish for Angela and her family as they have attempted to try and come to terms with Leslie’s death.
“The family rightly have a number of concerns about what happened on the evening in question and hope the inquest provides them with vital answers.”
“This was a very serious incident which has had a life-changing impact on both Peter and Jamie. They face a long recovery battle and we are helping them to access the support and rehabilitation they need.
“We see first-hand the consequences of dangerous driving and the impact it has on the victims of crashes on the roads. I hope that Reece’s sentence today serves as a strong lesson to others that reckless behaviour will not go unpunished.”
“Anna suffered devastating injuries and she still suffers from on-going health problems to this day, nearly three years on from the accident.
“We work with many people whose lives have been devastated by incidents on our roads and we want to make sure that safety for both pedestrians and drivers remains a priority.
“We have been working with Anna to help with her recovery and rehabilitation and we have been able to secure a fair settlement for her from the driver’s insurers so that she can have access to funds to help support her.”
