I am a solicitor in the Court of Protection team in the Bristol office.
I specialise in all areas of mental capacity and Court of Protection work with a primary focus on dealing with high value deputyships, as well as personal injury Trusts. I have extensive experience of supporting vulnerable clients and providing advice both to lay clients and professionals in this niche and specialised area of law.
I act for a wide range of clients including children and adults who have suffered brain damage as a result of clinical negligence or brain injury following a catastrophic accident, who need assistance in the management of their compensation awards.
I have particular experience in statutory will and gift applications to the Court of Protection, applications for the appointment of a professional or lay Deputy, day to day management of damages including implementing recommendations for care, case management, therapies and investment. I am also experienced in the preparation of litigation support statements in personal injury and clinical negligence claims on likely future professional deputyship costs.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Away from the office, I am involved in coaching synchronised swimming following a brief stint as an international athlete and I also enjoy travelling when I get the time.
