I am a Paralegal Apprentice specialising in asbestos and occupational disease claims. I support clients and their families through what can be a difficult and unfamiliar legal process, helping to make things as straightforward and understandable as possible.
My role involves assisting with the investigation and progression of claims, working closely with solicitors and other paralegals to do everything we can for our clients.

I like the continuous charity work that all the teams do. We are always encouraged to fundraise for our national charity partner, Crisis, but also for charities that each team directly works with - like Mesothelioma UK. It creates an environment of selflessness and generosity which I think is very important.
The most rewarding aspect of my role is knowing that I have made a difference in someone's life. We can be guilty of being so busy and focussed on all the different clients we have that we don't stop to reflect how much our clients appreciate the work we do.
Ever since I was young, I wanted to study law. I always enjoyed learning about it and how much it can change overtime. I was first exposed to law when I found out some of my family members worked in politics, and I was very interested in what they did- especially the legal aspect of it!
I always enjoy going to the gym after work. I also play the clarinet in an orchestra and enjoy doing small creative projects to keep me busy.
