“Andrew, Lawrence and the team made the experience as stress free as possible and were with me every step of the way. They also made my family feel comfortable and reassured throughout the whole process and couldn’t have asked for more from any of them. Exceptional legal team who helped me get the outcome I was hoping for!”

5* Trustpilot review

I am a paralegal in the Civil Liberties team at Irwin Mitchell, based within the broader Public Law and Human Rights department, where I have worked since August 2025.

I work closely with Senior Associate Solicitor Andrew Arthur to represent clients who have been subject to unlawful acts by police officers and public authorities.

I support the progression of civil claims in the County Court and the High Court involving assault and battery; false imprisonment; malicious prosecution; misfeasance in public office; breaches of the Human Rights Act and discrimination under the Equality Act.
