Laura Singleton
Biography
I am a dedicated criminal defence Solicitor in the Regulatory and Criminal Investigations Team. After several years as a paralegal in another firm, I commenced my training contract in 2023 and qualified as a Solicitor in August 2025.
I specialise in defending clients for a wide range of criminal and regulatory matters, including all aspects of general and financial crime and investigations by regulatory bodies.
I provide comprehensive representation from the very start of an investigation, including attendance at police stations for interviews under caution, effective pre-charge engagement and throughout Court proceedings up to the conclusion of a case.
I have defended clients in prosecutions brought by the Crown Prosecution Service, the Police Led Prosecution team, Trading Standards and the Gambling Commission. I have also represented professionals as part of disciplinary proceedings initiated by their regulator.
I am committed to achieving the best possible outcome for my clients. I offer clear, practical advice and robust representation at every stage of an investigation, whether it is at the pre-charge stage or in court. I understand proceedings are highly stressful for clients, and guide clients throughout the proceedings with compassion and care.
