Biography
I joined Irwin Mitchell in October 2021 as a Paralegal in the Medical Negligence team.
My role involves assisting Solicitors, Senior Associates and Partners in the team, as well as speaking to new clients and assessing their potential claims as they come into the team.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
This job is my first legal role since leaving University. I was welcomed into the team from the start and enjoy the work that I do. The work is very fulfilling as I know we make a positive impact on people's lives.
I work with some very talented and passionate solicitors, who genuinely care about their clients. The environment I work in helps me to develop and pushes me to reach my full potential.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I enjoy helping people who have suffered significant loss get the help they need. A lot of our clients suffer life-changing consequences as a result of their injury and helping them get the compensation they need is very rewarding.
I also enjoy working collectively with the team to obtain the best possible results for our clients.
What inspired you to get into law?
I really enjoyed studying Law whilst at university and knew I wanted to get involved with the practical side of Law. I decided to volunteer at various Law Clinics and saw first-hand the positive impact that practical legal work can have on clients.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work, I play coach and umpire netball. I enjoy helping both children and adults to develop their skills and have fun through sport.
I also enjoy travelling, reading and meeting my friends.
