Biography
I am a Chartered Legal Executive in the Medical Negligence department, specialising in clinical negligence claims.
I have experience of handling a variety of cases in which negligence has resulted in orthopaedic injuries, gynaecological injuries, delays in diagnosis and treatment of cancer, injuries sustained during surgery, stillbirth and death.
What Inspired You To Get Into Law?
I knew before I left school that I wanted a career in the law and so I joined the Personal Injury Department at Irwin Mitchell, where I gained broad experience in the different types of personal injury claims, before accepting a post in the Medical Negligence team. I have never looked back since.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Every case is unique and it is very rewarding to see the difference that compensation you have helped secure can make to an individual and their family.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
Having the opportunity to work within such a highly specialist area of the law and with colleagues who are committed to using their expertise to advise and support clients through their difficult and traumatic experience.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy horse riding, walking in the Peak District and generally trying to keep fit.
