Biography
I'm a paralegal in the serious injury team based in Sheffield and work with people who've suffered serious and complex injuries in an accident. I specialise in motor personal injury work, which includes a number of areas such as chronic pain, complex orthopaedic injuries, and fatalities.
I have many years’ experience with serious injury claims and have extensive knowledge of guiding clients through the key issues with empathy and professionalism.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always had an interest in Law and began working for Irwin Mitchell in 1997 after finishing college. There were always opportunities available to progress in the firm and I chose to use these in order to build myself a career in civil law.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I'm a driven person and worked hard to build a good technical knowledge and recognition of my ambition to give clients the best possible service. There is great satisfaction in resolving claims successfully and knowing that the client is able to move forward with their lives.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The firm is very supportive in terms of its employees' progression, development and wellbeing. I work with some wonderful people who make coming into the office every day a pleasure and have made some life-long friends along the way.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office, I enjoy socialising with friends and family, musical theatre and decorating and DIY.
