Biography
I am a solicitor in Irwin Mitchell’s London office. I qualified as a solicitor in 2023 and I specialise in medical negligence.
I act for both child and adult Claimants. I also have much experience working on fatal cases (claims brought where someone has sadly died as a result of medical negligence).
I have a varied case load which includes claims for compensation arising from ophthalmic, orthopaedic, gastroenterological, oncological, cardiac, surgical, neonatal, obstetric and gynaecological care.
I have a particular interest in women’s health claims and my current case load involves stillbirth claims; birth injury claims, and claims relating to negligently performed gynaecological surgery. I also have experience in claims arising from delays in diagnosing and treating various types of cancers, including cervical cancer and breast cancer.
I have always had an interest in the medical field and have always wanted to improve people’s lives for the better. Before studying law, I worked in prosthetics and special effects. As part of my early career, I spent two years as a silicone technician making bespoke, ultra-realistic prosthetic limbs for amputees. After that, my work included making silicone inserts for lifelike medical training models (used by trainee doctors) which replicate in-depth, realistic simulation in cardiac anatomy and echocardiography.
My early career gave me unique insight into life as an amputee, as well as insight into anatomy and the medical field.
I pride myself on a calm, empathetic approach. I am determined to obtain the best possible result for all of my clients.
