Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team based in Birmingham. I act exclusively for clients in clinical negligence cases against NHS Trusts, private practitioners, general practitioners (GPs) and dentists.
I run my own varied case load which includes cases involving a delay in diagnosis of cancer, gynaecological injuries and cases arising from sub-standard surgery.
I also specialise in cosmetic cases, and I have a particular interest in facial surgeries and breast augmentation surgeries cases arising as a result of sub-standard technique.
I also have experience helping people who have suffered psychological injuries as a result of sub-standard treatment and people who have experienced substandard dental treatment.
In addition, I assist on the team’s larger cases and have experience in working on cases involving profound brain damage, stroke, fatalities and neonatal death.
I previously worked within the International Personal Injury department at Irwin Mitchell where I gained experience in dealing with large group claims.
What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
I am passionate about helping individuals who have been avoidably injured through no fault of their own. Medical negligence can result in life-changing injuries and being able to help individuals through this difficult rime in their lives is extremely rewarding and drives my passion for this area of the law.
I am passionate about helping people who have suffered as a result of clinical negligence. I will strive to secure financial compensation to improve quality of life and aid with rehabilitation.

What Do You Do Away From The Office?
I am a keen runner and run at least one marathon a year. I ran my first marathon for a health related charity and raised over £2,000.
I also enjoy travelling and have trekked the Inca Trail in Peru for 4 days to visit Macchu Pichu. To celebrate qualifying as a Solicitor I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
