Biography
I'm an Employment & Professional Discipline solicitor specialising in advising senior executives and professionals in all areas of employment law and professional discipline. I can also advise regulated professionals on issues relating to the GMC, FCA and SRA.
I will support you through the process and, through a combination of realistic advice and robust representation, help you to achieve justice and move on to the next chapter.
I specialise in advising individual employees on a range of Employment issues, including:
- All aspects of termination of employment, negotiating exits and settlement agreements
- Unfair dismissal
- Discrimination
- Redundancy
- Whistleblowing
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Claims in the Employment Tribunal, litigation strategy and settlement.
I also advise regulated professionals in Professional Discipline matters and, in particular, have advised and supported doctors through GMC proceedings. I have extensive previous experience in medical law, which has given me an in-depth understanding of the sector and the conditions that doctors work in.
I also have experience of representing both Claimant and Defendant companies in claims relating to the application of the Equality Act 2010 in the civil courts.
Key highlights
I was part of the team that recently represented a medical professional through GMC proceedings. The conclusion of the proceedings was that no findings of dishonesty or impairment were made, and no sanctions were imposed.
