I am a Partner within the Personal Legal Services division and a member of the national executive responsible for fast track claims. As a department, we have a team of over 150 case handlers dealing with a wide range of personal injury matters.
In school I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer and I pursued this aim through university and law school. I enjoy the challenge of my work, it is certainly never dull and there is always something new to consider.
It is a great feeling when you achieve a good result for a client. A personal injury lawyer is there to help someone who finds themselves in an unforeseen and difficult situation. It is rewarding to be able to make a difference in this way.
Irwin Mitchell is at the forefront of all personal injury work within the UK. It is forward thinking, innovative, socially responsible and generally an excellent firm to work for.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and two young children. I also have a passion for road bikes and skiing.
“The number of incidents in which cyclists are killed or seriously injured means that the issue of cycling safety is likely to be up for debate for some time to come.
“Through our work, we have seen the terrible consequences that such collisions have and would always urge road users to put the safety of themselves and others first.
“With this in mind, while helmets are not compulsory, cyclists should certainly make their welfare a priority – an important part of which is being well prepared and equipped to help minimise risks.”
