Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team in our Sheffield office.
I specialise in Clinical Negligence claims and Inquests. I have been working in the team since May 2020.
During my time in the team, I have worked on a number of different cases and helped clients who have unfortunately suffered from a wide range of injuries. These include, but are not limited to: fractures, soft tissue and surgical injuries, psychological injuries, and, unfortunately, injuries where individuals have passed away.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Our team are incredibly supportive and talented in what they do. Being part of such an experienced team is the perfect place to be able to support our clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Without doubt, the chance to help and support individuals and families during the times they need it most. Being able to achieve the results they are seeking, and to see the difference it can make is incredibly rewarding.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always enjoyed helping people and playing a part in improving individuals' situations. It was not an area I had ever considered possible until looking into it further. After I had worked in California, and at Irwin Mitchell as part of my development, it was very clear this was the right career for me.
What do you do away from the office?
I have a keen interest in sports, and this is a large part of my life away from work. Specifically, football, cricket, golf, darts, swimming and running. It may be a bit of a stretch to say I enjoy watching football, when my team is Huddersfield Town, but it is something I can often be found doing away from the office.
