Biography
I joined Irwin Mitchell in 2001, as an Office Assistant in the Finance Department and with the support of my managers progressed though my career within various roles.
I joined the Costs Team as a Trainee Law Costs Draftsman in 2014 and went on to qualify as a Costs Lawyer in 2018. Within the Costs Team my analytical skills and attention to detail are put to good use.
I am a founding member of the Billing Team. I prepare large, complex, high value bills of costs with a specialism in Claimant medical negligence work. I have also undertaken other aspects of personal injury, Group actions, Wills, Trust and Estate Disputes, bills for external parties and legal aid work. This includes preparing schedules, replies to points of dispute, negotiations and finalising detailed assessment and protected party approval matters for solicitor/client costs.
