I have extensive experience in handling non-contentious commercial property matters including the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property and landlord and tenant related matters. I have particular expertise in property development transactions, including the negotiation of option agreements, promotion agreements, conditional contracts and overage agreements.

I typically act for landowners who are looking to sell land for residential or commercial development. I act for companies, LLPs, trusts and individuals. My particular expertise covers sales of land for development, land promotion agreements, option agreements, conditional contracts, and overage agreements.
What notable cases have you worked on?
- Acting for a property investment company in respect of the acquisition, assembly and sale of plots on a commercial development site subject to planning with overage provisions.
- Acting for the purchaser (a privately owned hotel operator) of a flagship hotel in London.
- Acting for an international company on a development purchase of its head office subject to planning.
- Acting for a landowner in respect of the sale of land for residential development on a proposed 300 dwelling scheme.
As a client, what can I expect from my first meeting with you?
I will be based in the Brighton office - the first meeting will involve reviewing the terms of the proposed transaction, considering the likely scope of work to be undertaken, establishing the client's needs and clarifying / confirming the intended outcomes.
