"Margaret [Ryan] and Jamie were very understanding and empathetic. This really helped me through the difficult stages of the case. Jamie McCloy also worked very hard in supporting the case and I was very pleased with the contribution that he made to all the administrative detail that needed to be carried out. He was very patient and happy to explain and answer any questions I had. I was pleased with the outcome of the case, the team fought hard and represented me very well. What inspired you to get into law?
I’ve always found fulfilment in helping those who need it. I wanted to pursue a career that would allow me to reach those in need and help make a positive impact on their lives.
I also love a challenge. The law is ever changing and developing, especially in the modern world, and makes for a mentally stimulating and challenging career.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Getting to know our clients and forming a close relationship and a feeling of mutual trust and confidence is always very rewarding to me.
Being part of a successful settlement and knowing that they’re able to move forward with their life at the end of the claim is the cherry on top.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I'm supported by the very best lawyers in the business and their guidance and team approach is absolutely invaluable.
What do you do away from the office?
I love spending time with friends and family, walking with my dog, Lily, who is a very naughty Beagle, and attending live music events and festivals. I’m a keen runner and can usually be found running local 10k / half-marathon races.
