I've worked in the Serious Injury team in Irwin Mitchell’s London office since 2016. I represent clients who have suffered a wide range of injuries including, orthopaedic injury, psychiatric illness and traumatic brain injuries. I am experienced in dealing with claims following road traffic collisions, accidents at work and occupiers and public liability matters.
It's vital to me that my clients are able to access the rehabilitation that they need to maximise their recovery. I work alongside Multi-Disciplinary teams of speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and more to ensure that my clients have access to the best treatment available.
What inspired you to get in to law?
I've always had a strong sense of justice and it was important to me that I worked in an area that made a real difference to peoples lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I find it extremely rewarding when I'm able to assist a client with improving their quality of life. Whether that be by way of securing early funding for rehabilitation or settling their claim and allowing them to move onto the next stage of their lives.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
One of the reasons that I enjoy working for Irwin Mitchell is that the real understanding of the importance of rehabilitation and of providing the best possible service to our clients. There are regular seminars and training sessions to ensure that we are at the forefront of any legal developments.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my family who live by the sea, travelling and enjoying good food with friends.
