Biography
I have been practising immigration law for over a decade. I have extensive experience in providing comprehensive immigration legal services to both individuals and businesses. I specialise in assisting businesses with sponsor licences, sponsor compliance and work visas. My clients include businesses and charities from a wide range of sectors. I am also experienced in advising on and challenging negative Home Office decisions, including representation in appeals before the Immigration Tribunals and in Administrative Review and Judicial Review applications.
I graduated with a First Class (Honours) degree in law from the University of Sunderland and completed my Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University. My work has been recognised in The Legal 500.
Key highlights
- I designed and managed a bespoke Sponsor Licence Platform; overseeing interaction, management of licences and assistance for clients, encompassing businesses, charities and education establishments.
- I have presented at ILPA’s (Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association) annual Sponsor Licence Law Conference on sponsor licence downgrades, suspensions and revocations.
- I advised and assisted a care home group following a licence revocation. This included exploring options, making an application for a linked entity and advising as to the re-structuring and changes to ownership required, from an immigration perspective. The application was successful.
