Biography
I am a Solicitor in the High Net Worth and International Tax team at Irwin Mitchell's London office. I advise individuals in the UK and overseas on the domestic and international aspects of taxation and succession planning, as well as in relation to trusts.
What inspired you to get into law?
I came to law as a career change having begun my working life in software marketing. I made the decision to retrain as a solicitor because I wanted a career which provided both intellectual stimulation as well as the opportunity to provide practical assistance to clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I enjoy the detective work involved in working through a client’s situation and identifying any problems and potential solutions.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The working environment is very friendly and approachable. The size and breadth of the firm’s private client team means that there is a vast amount of experience and expertise available in-house.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my young family and going out for a run along country lanes when I have a quiet moment.
