Public Law and Human Rights
Bristol & Cardiff
My work spans judicial review, community care, children's rights, Court of Protection proceedings, inquests, and claims brought under the Human Rights Act.
I have a particular interest in matters involving Welsh legislation, Welsh public bodies and the exercise of devolved powers. I am especially interested in how judicial review, and strategic litigation can be used to strengthen the protections available under both English and Welsh law, hold decision-makers to account, and achieve meaningful change for individuals and communities.

Irwin Mitchell has a strong reputation for championing the rights of vulnerable individuals and pursuing cases that can make a real difference, both for individual clients and for wider society. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside highly regarded colleagues across a range of specialist practice areas, who share a genuine passion for supporting clients.
