I am a solicitor in the Public Law and Human Rights team. I specialise in challenging unlawful decisions made by public bodies and helping individuals secure the support, services and fair treatment to which they are entitled.
My work spans judicial review, community care, children's rights, Court of Protection proceedings, inquests, and claims brought under the Human Rights Act.
I have a particular interest in matters involving Welsh legislation, Welsh public bodies and the exercise of devolved powers. I am especially interested in how judicial review, and strategic litigation can be used to strengthen the protections available under both English and Welsh law, hold decision-makers to account, and achieve meaningful change for individuals and communities.
