Biography

 I am a Family Solicitor based at the Aske Office in Richmond, North Yorkshire. I specialise in all aspects of family law, including divorce, financial matters arising from divorce, disputes relating to children, and disputes arising between unmarried/cohabiting couples on the breakdown of their relationship.

I have developed a particular interest and expertise in landed estates and farming cases, both of which often involve disputes relating to trust assets, valuation and liquidity.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

I chose family law specifically as I enjoy the personal aspect. For that short period of time, you are helping people navigate potentially one of the most challenging times in their lives.  Seeing people reach the other side is extremely rewarding.

What inspired you to get into law?

I have always enjoyed a challenge. Family law particularly is fast paced, and no day is the same.

What do you do away from the office?

I enjoy trail running, cycling and walking with my two whippets. Anything to get outdoors!
