Biography
I specialise in international serious injury claims, supporting clients who have suffered life-altering injuries or illnesses abroad. My work includes representing individuals and groups in package holiday illness claims, accidents overseas, and cases involving employer liability and public liability, and maritime claims.
With extensive experience in both multi-track and fast-track litigation, I handle claims of varying complexity and value. Whether you’ve been injured while travelling, fallen ill due to poor hygiene standards on a package holiday, or suffered harm due to negligence at work or in a public space, I’m here to help you navigate the legal process with confidence.
My role is to provide clear, practical advice from the outset, investigating your claim, gathering evidence, negotiating with insurers, and pursuing court proceedings where necessary. I understand how overwhelming these situations can be, especially when they involve international elements, and I’m committed to making the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The values that Irwin Mitchell stand for align with me and there’s a genuine culture of collaboration and a strong focus on providing a holistic service, supporting clients not just legally, but in every aspect of their recovery. It’s a privilege to be part of a team that puts people first.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
For me, the most rewarding part of my work is achieving the best possible outcome for my clients, especially when that means successfully settling a case and helping someone move forward after a difficult experience. I take pride in negotiating robustly and always keeping my clients’ best interests at the heart of everything I do.
What inspired you to get into law?
From an early age, I was drawn to the idea of standing up for people who find themselves in difficult or unfamiliar situations, especially when those situations involve injury, injustice, or navigating complex legal systems. Law felt like a natural path because it combines analytical thinking with a real opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy going on holidays, attending live music concerts and spending time with family and friends.
