I specialise in Court of Protection matters. I have experience in Professional Deputyship and Trustee management. I am also able to advise on Lay Deputyship matters.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I love the Irwin Mitchell Flexible by Choice working policy as I can suit my working day around myself and the needs of my individual clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
My role enables me to manage property and finances for those who lack the requisite mental capacity to do so themselves. A lot of my clients will never regain capacity so I get to work with them throughout their lifetimes, which means celebrating their key milestones together.
What inspired you to get into law?
I studied Law and Criminology at University. I stumbled across Court of Protection work in 2017 and have not looked back since. I am a very empathetical and caring individual who loves helping others, which is the reason I enjoy law so much.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my young son, and socialising with family and friends. Fun fact about me - I have a 3 legged dog called Spud.
