Biography
I joined Irwin Mitchell in 2020 as a Paralegal before being admitted as a Solicitor in 2024. I am now a Solicitor based in our Southampton office. I work in the Asbestos Related Disease Team. I represent clients who have been diagnosed with asbestos related conditions such as mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and asbestos related lung cancer.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The level of expertise within the firm is second to none. I am honoured to work within such a fantastic group of lawyers across the full-service business that Irwin Mitchell provides. Irwin Mitchell does not only provide for its clients, but it also cares considerately about the local community and supports numerous charities throughout each year.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
It is about supporting clients and their families following a life-changing diagnosis. I enjoy being able to help people understand and navigate the complexities of legal claims and help them get the compensation they are entitled to.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was stuck on a career path but knew that I wanted a career that was challenging and rewarding and one where I could use my skills and expertise to help others through difficult times in their lives. I was inspired to become a solicitor a few years after leaving school, and I then embarked on the long journey to fulfil that inspiration.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the gym and travelling to visit new places across the UK and around the world.
