Recent cases include:

• A child who sustained a profound brain injury through failures in intrapartum monitoring and delivery management. I led the claim from the early investigation stage through the complexities of the liability case. I was able to secure compensation, which was combined with substantial interim payments. I also successfully applied for a large interim payment so my client could buy a suitable property while their claim was ongoing. The claim was settled for around £18 million, including around £2 million to support the purchase of a property while the claim was ongoing.
• A child who developed cerebral palsy following negligent management during labour. I gathered expert evidence on liability, care, therapies, accommodation and educational support. This helped me to secure a compensation settlement that provided lifelong financial security and ensured my client could access a full package of rehabilitation and support. The claim was settled for £29.3 million.
