Testimonials
“I found myself in a difficult situation before discovering Irwin Mitchell’s immigration team. The Home Office had cancelled my visa, deeming my presence in the UK not conducive to the public good, and initially denied me the right to appeal. This made the situation particularly challenging. Following the expert advice of Mandeep Khroud and Ewan Collett, I began the arduous process of judicial review against the Secretary of State for the Home Department’s decision to cancel my leave to remain and refuse my application for indefinite leave to remain.
As expected, the process was exhausting, and there were many moments when I felt like giving up. However, with the unwavering support of Mandeep and Ewan at Irwin Mitchell, along with the brilliant barrister Adrian Berry, my nerves were calmed, and I trusted their guidance implicitly. My judicial review case involved a niche point of law, intersecting freedom of expression and immigration law.
Thanks to my outstanding legal team, the judge ruled that the decision to cancel my leave to remain was unlawful, allowing me to stay in the UK, where I have lived for a significant part of my adult life. I am happy to be a part of change in this area of UK immigration law. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Mandeep and Ewan, an exceptional team who guided me through this challenging process and helped me secure my right to remain. I highly recommend them to anyone facing UK immigration issues; their expertise in handling complex points of immigration law is truly remarkable. Huge thanks to Mandeep and her team.” – 5* Trustpilot Review
“Ewan Collett and Mandeep Khroud assisted me with my daughter’s application for indefinite leave to enter the UK as the non-British child of a British citizen. I am a British citizen, as well as Canadian, but my daughter is only a Canadian citizen. My daughter’s application was not straightforward as she had, mistakenly, breached immigration rules in the UK while as a Visitor. Furthermore, this case required me to provide that I had sole responsibility of my daughter due to my ex-partner, my daughter’s biological father, being uncooperative in supplying current documentation to validate the “sole responsibility” requirement... My daughter’s application for settlement was approved, despite the previous breach of immigration rules and the significant burden of proof needed to establish my sole responsibility. This result is fantastic! - Choosing Ewan and Mandeep to handle my immigration case was the best decision I could have made. I would never have been able to manage the process especially given the complexity of my case... -5* Trustpilot Review.
“I am very grateful to the immigration team of Irwin Mitchell. I have used previous legal representation for applications for leave to remain with my children in the UK, and this was unsuccessful, which has led to me using the services of Irwin Mitchell’s Immigration team, led by Mandeep Khroud, and assisted by Ewan Collett and Devlin Freeburn. They were methodical in their approach, covering the complicated details of my case, and I was able to receive a Skilled Worker visa within 48 hours despite having 2 previous refusals. It's a great experience.” – 5* Trustpilot Review
“Ewan Collett assisted me with my Skilled Worker visa application which was approved. Fortunately, Ewan at Irwin Mitchell prepared this application for me and I believe this is what allowed my Skilled Worker visa application to be approved.” – 5* Trustpilot Review
“Ewan Collett and Mandeep Khroud assisted me with my Skilled Worker visa application. Following the submission of the visa application, I was called into an interview as the Home Office suspected that I was not taking up genuine employment. Fortunately, Ewan and Mandeep at Irwin Mitchell prepared me for this and, following the interview, my visa application was approved. They was doing great job. They are really helpful.” – 5* Trustpilot Review
