Biography
I am a Chartered Legal Executive in the Serious Injury Team and specialise in helping people who have sustained serious and life changing injuries, including brain injuries, spinal cord and serious orthopaedic injuries.
I endeavour to secure interim payments for my clients as soon as possible, which enables them to access specialist rehabilitation, aiming to maximise their independence and help with rebuilding their lives.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Irwin Mitchell is made up of people with the experience, skill and commitment to get the best results possible for our clients and support them along their journey. I am proud to be part of a firm which provides an exceptional level of service, and which always goes over and above for their clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Meeting our seriously injured clients and their families face to face at the very start of their journey, getting to know and guide them through one of the most difficult times in their lives, and seeing the difference rehabilitation, care and compensation can make is a hugely rewarding part of my role.
What inspired you to get into law?
My dad inspired me to get into law; I was always fascinated by his job in the court growing up and we used to enjoy watching legal dramas on TV together.
I decided to study law at Cardiff University and later went on find my passion in personal injury whilst I was working in a different firm as a paralegal. I have continued working in this area of law since 2016.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work I enjoy weightlifting, hiking with my partner in the Brecon Beacons and singing in a local choir.
