Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Asbestos and Occupational Disease team at Irwin Mitchell's Bristol and Cardiff offices. I have a background in representing clients who suffered from a wide range of occupational diseases, including respiratory diseases and asbestos related diseases. I am passionate about achieving the best possible outcomes for clients and providing excellent client care.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I enjoy working for Irwin Mitchell because the people are friendly, approachable and genuinely care about clients and colleagues. I like that Irwin Mitchell focuses on collaboration to provide clients with a high-level, comprehensive service.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is helping clients achieve some level of justice. No amount of compensation can make up for a client developing an occupational disease, but I get great satisfaction from helping them access the care and assistance they need and ensuring their loved ones are provided for in the future.
What inspired you to get into law?
I wanted to pursue a career where I could help people through difficult times in their lives. I became a Solicitor so I could help clients get the rehabilitation and compensation awards they need after developing an occupational disease.
What do you do away from the office?
I have been a keen rock climber and mountaineer for over ten years, and I spend most weekends travelling to outdoor climbing areas or training at the local climbing gym. I also enjoy running and I completed my first marathon in 2023.
