Biography
I’m a Paralegal in the Medical Negligence team, based in Birmingham. I’ve worked at Irwin Mitchell since 2019, when I started as an Administrator.
In my role as a Paralegal, I assist other members of the team with a variety of cases such as dental, orthopaedic, general medical and birth injuries.
What inspired you to get into law?
I initially trained as a teacher but realised that it wasn’t the career for me. I had studied Law at school and enjoyed it, but always worried that a career in law was out of my reach. That changed when I was offered a role as an Administrator at Irwin Mitchell and I’ve since progressed to a position as a Paralegal.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is helping clients to overcome the challenges they now face as a result of negligence.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The best thing about working at Irwin Mitchell is the people. Everyone is supportive and welcoming, both within the Medical Negligence team and across other departments.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with friends and going on long walks with my dog.
