Biography
I specialise in personal injury and represent adults and children who have had catastrophic and life changing injuries, including brain injury, spinal cord, and serious orthopaedic injury. I also deal with fatal accidents claims. I support my clients from the outset of their claim, to ensure early access to rehabilitation, aim to secure interim payments promptly to continue funding recommended treatment to maximise recovery and achieve the best possible settlement.
What inspired you to get into law?
From a young age I always knew that I wanted to do a job that was going to be challenging, exciting, rewarding and allow me to help those who are in need. After doing work experience in a Barrister’s chambers where I had the opportunity to attend Court, meet clients and assist on cases, I knew that Law was the career for me.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The most rewarding aspect of my role is seeing the difference we can make to client’s and their families lives by giving them the guidance and support they need. When we first meet clients, it is usually after their life has just been turned upside down following a serious injury or accident. Watching them regain confidence and achieve their goals is something I will always find fulfilling.

Working at Irwin Mitchell means that I am working with really experienced individuals and with the firms ethos 'Expert Hand, Human Touch' means that we are all passionate about providing a hands on service to our clients and are all striving to achieve the best possible outcome for them.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside I work, if I am not completing a DIY project in the home or garden, I can be found on the sofa engrossed in a good book. I am usually kept busy by my very playful cat but also enjoy yoga and going for walks.
