The team recently secured a settlement of over £350,000 for an individual pursuing complex whistleblowing and discrimination claims. We have also successfully defended unfair dismissal and discrimination claims on behalf of insured employer clients where compensation claimed exceeded £500,000.

We act for a diverse range of clients, from senior executives and professionals through to employees across multiple industries plus businesses, charities and educational institutions. While every case is different, our aim is always the same: to achieve the best possible outcome and relieve clients of the stress, uncertainty and disruption that employment disputes can bring.

The work I am most proud of is the development and leadership of a specialist Employment LEI team that is trusted by the industry to deal with complex, high-volume and often sensitive employment disputes. The team's work regularly involves disputes affecting individuals across a broad range of sectors and professions, as well as insured businesses, charities and educational organisations. Many of these matters carry significant professional, financial and reputational consequences for those involved.

A key part of my role has been helping to build and maintain a service model that delivers value for both the insurer we work with and their policyholders.

I have also contributed to the wider leadership of Business Services Group through risk and compliance work, helping to identify issues, support mitigations and embed practical, proportionate risk management into operational delivery.

The Legal 500 has recognised the strength of the team I lead, and the quality of service provided to insurers and policyholders, including feedback that the team is “very knowledgeable” and consistently delivers expert advice with clarity and sufficient detail to help both the insurers and clients understand the legal position.
